The twins are 3X qualifiers for the National Junior High Finals Rodeo (NJHFR) in Light Rifle Shooting. Each year, the Top-4 athletes from 44 states, 5 Canadian provinces, Australia, Mexico, and New Zealand earn the right to compete for a World Championship title. Smiley went undefeated in the 2023-24 season, claiming the Arkansas Junior High State Finals Championship and Arkansas Junior High Year End Title. Mischief finished the year as the Arkansas Junior High Reserve Champion. At the 2024 NJHFR in Des Moines, Iowa, Smiley was Top 20 worldwide, and Mischief finished with a career-best 32nd place.
Reflecting on their journey, Mischief and Smiley have shown remarkable progress. In their first year of competition, Mischief was the 2022 Arkansas Reserve Champion, and Smiley finished third. At Nationals, Smiley led all Arkansas shooters, setting a Personal Record. The twins then switched positions in the 2022-23 season, with Smiley becoming the 2023 Arkansas Reserve Champion and Mischief earning third place, leading them to the 2023 NJHFR World Finals in Perry, GA.
